An interesting stat about Range Trading.

I took Historical Nifty 50 EOD data for the past 9 years and found this pattern.

Close > PDH		449	26.07%		Close > PDH		232	62.37%		Close > PDH		12	6.32%

If Nifty opens within PDR, around  50%  it has closed within the range.
If Nifty opens above PDH, more than 60%  it has closed above PDH.
If Nifty opens below PDL, more than 60%  it has closed below PDL.

Also if Nifty opens above PDC, more than 60% of the times it has closed above PDC.
If Nifty open below PDC, more than 60% of the times it has closed below PDC.
